RANDOM

Variable step generator

Last updated 1 day ago

Modulator

Unpredictable and organic, the RANDOM modulator introduces evolving, non-repeating variations to your sound. From subtle drift to chaotic fluctuations, this modulator is ideal for adding life, texture, and movement with or without strict repetition.

Parameters

AMOUNT Controls the modulation depth.

PHASE Adjusts the phase of the modulation.

OFFSET Adjusts the base value of the modulation.

LENGTH Number of steps in the random shape sequence.

VARIATION How often the randomised shape changes its step values.

SMOOTH Applies slew to the stepped sequence.

SPREAD Phase shifts the modulation in the stereo-field.

Actions

RATE Controls the rate of the modulation cycle.
