USB Mass Storage Mode

The S-4 can be connected to a computer using USB Mass Storage Mode. In this mode, the S-4 appears as a standard drive on the computer, allowing for easy transfer of samples and entire projects. It also enables backing up data or extracting recordings made on the S-4.

1. Connect a compatible USB cable between the PC / Mac and the S-4 USB-C connector.

2. Tap [CONFIG] to open the configuration page of the S-4.

3. Navigate to the SYSTEM menu.

4. Select the USB MASS STORAGE option.

5. Tap [YES] to enter USB Mass Storage Mode.

If no USB connection is detected, a notification will appear on the display. Re-connect the S-4 with USB and try again.

Ensure cable is a fully functional USB data compatible cable and not designed only for use as a power cable.
