Recording the Main Output

The S-4 features seamless recording of the main output. This feature can be used to capture live performances or for intuitive resampling on the fly. By default the Main Recording feature is quantized to the Global Tempo, but this setting can be adjusted.

Start recording:

• Hold [CTRL] + tap [PLAY]

Stop recording:

• Hold [CTRL] + tap [PLAY] again

While recording the main output, an indicator in the header will show the duration of the recording.

When a recording has finished, it will automatically be saved under samples/USER/RECORDINGS .
