Adjusting Tempo

Tempo sets the playback speed of the T1. You can change it at any time, whether the T1 is running on its internal clock or following an external clock source.

  1. Turn (TEMPO) to adjust the BPM.
  2. Optionally press a [VALUE] button to jump directly to a preset Tempo.
  3. Press [CLEAR] + [VALUE] to reset Tempo to 120 BPM.

Per-Bank Tempo

Tempo is stored with the active Bank. This makes it easy to keep different Banks at different BPMs without changing Tempo manually each time.

  • Loading a Bank recalls its saved Tempo.
  • Saving a Bank stores the current Tempo with it.
  • Switching Patterns within the same Bank does not change Tempo.

If you change Tempo during a performance and want to keep it, save the Bank again.

External Clock

The T1 can use its internal clock or follow external clock sources such as MIDI, Analog clock, or Ableton Link.

If the T1 is following an external clock, Tempo is determined by the external source.
