Channel & Output
Channel sets which external MIDI channel the selected Track uses. Hold [CTRL] to access Output, which routes that Track’s sequence to other Tracks inside the T1. Together, they let you define both the external MIDI channel and any internal layering or shared sequencing.
Output in this page refers to internal Track-to-Track routing inside the T1, not to a physical MIDI output port.

How Random modulation applies to Channel:
- Clockwise: +/- midi channel differently for each note in the chord
- Counterclockwise: +/- midi channel equally for each note in the chord
- Unit: Random Rate
See the Random Behavior Reference.
Assigning a MIDI Channel
Channel sets which MIDI channel the selected Track uses.
Per Track
- Select a Track by pressing its [VALUE] button.
- Turn (CHANNEL) to set the MIDI channel.
- Optionally press a [VALUE] button while in the Channel view to toggle the channel directly.
Multi-select
- Hold two or more [VALUE] buttons to select multiple Tracks.
- Turn (CHANNEL) to assign the same MIDI channel to all selected Tracks.
- Optionally use the [VALUE] buttons to toggle the channel directly for the selected Tracks.
Keeping a consistent channel layout across Banks can make live setup and external routing much easier.
Using Output to Route a Sequence
Output lets one Track send its sequence to one or more other Tracks. This is useful for layering sounds, driving multiple destinations from the same pattern, or building more complex routing setups.
- Select the source Track.
- Hold [CTRL] and turn (CHANNEL) to open the Output view.
- Press one or more [VALUE] buttons to toggle destination Tracks.
- The source Track is shown by a flashing value button.
- Tracks receiving the sequence are shown in white.
Output routing is stored with the Track and Pattern.
