Syncing with Ableton Live
To ensure the best sync between the S4 and Ableton Live, we recommend setting Abletons MIDI Clock Type to Pattern.
Audio over USB with Ableton Live
- Connect the S4 with a USB-C data cable to your computer
- In Ableton Live go to Live -> Setting-> Audio -> and choose S4 as an Audio Input Device or an Audio Output Device.

If using Windows a driver such as ASIO4All will need to be installed.

Connecting and syncing with Logic Pro
Syncing the S4 to Logic Pro
- Connect the S4 with a USB-C data cable to a computer
- Ensure the S4 receives Sync in and Start/Stop under CONFIG -> MIDI.
- In Logic Pro go to Project Settings -> Synchronization-> MIDI, and select S4 as a destination and toggle the Clock to on, in order to sync the S4 to Logic Pro.
